Looking aside.

Sigh.

Some things just don't change.

Just when you thought everything was over, everything starts falling back to place.

Don't get me wrong : I am NOT emo-ing, I am just ranting on and on about

exams.

Yes, examinations.

I am starting to really heed all of my seniors previous comments about Form 4 life.

Guaranteed, I expected no piece of cake, but to this saddening extent?

Argh. My brains just got fried today at Biology.

Again.

I afraid my poor kesian brain can't keep up with the inflicting damage.
):

Ranting on about exams would be forever,

so let's move on to better, cheerier topics. (:

Okay.

Highlight of the day:

Jaslynn said everything's OKAY between her and Aunt Fei

& she added that she's closer to her than ever.

Zomg.

Yes, Jas.

I never thought I will see the day.

Seriously, you guys quarrel like two spitting cats in a bag

and I tell you, you BETTER tell me what went on there between you guys.

Haha. xD

Oh yeah.

Mom says,

it doesn't matter whether he

ditched his eyeliner, screw his funky nails

or projected a masculine appearance by wearing a tux,

Adam Lambert is still a gay through and through.

Sorry y'all Adam fans out there.
*sheepish smile*

-------------------------------------------

*Swoons in delight*

If there's any Vampire Knight fans out there,

especially avid supporters of the Kaname x Yuuki pairing,

the latest chapter will satisfy your ever cravings for moe-ness.

Spoilers are prohibited. (:

You'll just have to read the chapter yourself.

Hurry on, Jas!

However,

Bad news is,

D.Gray-man will be on hiatus

starting next issue.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

April Baby.

On the 22th of April,

Happy Birthday
Munn Kitt!

May you stay as ingenious as ever and
please, stop getting taller! (:

God bless, dear.

With every beat of my heart.

You know?
Dreams do come true!
This is proof of that.
:)

I got shortlisted for the SIC Youth
Outreach Team 2009!

I have been seriously wow-ed by
the JYM since the '06 Rally.

And to have a chance to be in the team
is such a blessing.

I simply can't wait for everything
to begin!

This is a, scratch that, THE chance of
a lifetime!

-----------------------------------------------

Because of my one-car problem and dad had a meeting in Penang,

I had to miss two week's worth of Sunday school,
which brings a total of 5 WEEKS of me being an absentee.
Yes, crap, I know.

But I CAN'T help it!

There's simply NO one to turn too! I desperately need transport! ):
Only when I need it though...
So what happened was Ana told me that the shortlisted people for the team had came out, and she was one of them!

But, Ana being Ana, she obviously didn't wanna go.

" Lizzie, I am UNHOLY."
" Ana + camp = Syntax Error."
" Lizzie, I am not into Youth. It's not.... fun."

However, she did express the 5% possibility of going:
seeing *cough cough.
Identity being kept confidential. (:

GO ANA DAMMIT!

Ahem, back to the topic.

So I texted Gerry about what happened.

I still remember the day when she texted me saying she got in and I was really happy for her, but yet sad as we couldn't be in the team together. And not being able to see her rock on stage in the Rally. ):

Back to present times, we were talking about it when in one of her messages,
she texted Michael and said that I have been shortlisted as one of the candidates!

Stunned. Stupfied. Flabbergasted.
GOBSMACKED. Euphoria.

All I could say was, Thank the Lord.

------------------------------------------

Last night,
I got a call from Joshua about the youth stuff.
The thing about it is, that I have my suspicions that Joshua thinks I am some alien freak.
Or maybe he doesn't, but just listen to what I have to say.

I was grinning like an idiot when he was talking about the team,
and my awesome mom just had to be such a pest that time.
She was like making gagging noises and what other weird noises only she could accomplish.

Know what? It was hell distracting!
I couldn't really listen to what Josh was saying and she was soooo annoying!

And then when it ended, I screamed, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!??
She was like, NORMALLY, YOU'RE SO LOUD & CHATTY, SUDDENLY SO POLITE, SO PROPER...

Yeah mom, was I supposed to be rude?

Then, dad said, EH, THE LINE'S STILL ON LAR.

.......

I think no words are needed.
>.<

Thinking back, I think it was hilarious yet very humiliating.
:)

--------------------------------------------------

Hey Gerry dear!
Fancy sitting almost next to you in mass yet being totally oblivious about it!
This just goes to show how dumbfounded blur my brain really is.

See mom, Gerry's a GIRL, not a GUY!

Wakakakakakakaka! xD

Really,
I can't wait for the magic to start. (:

Behind the veil.

Mountains of homework, a gazillion worries...

Seriously, add maths is such a killer.

It is slowly feasting on my god-knows already bamboozled mind.

Yes, I am very moody this week.

Debate & homework has sucked the life out of me.

Or what's left inside me anyway.

Exams, e x a m s...

The pressure never goes away.

And, I am in dire need of physics coaching,

my mind just can't take the 'simplicity' of it.

Sarcasm intended.

I need my happy life back! (:

The daily afternoon naps, hardly no tuition, tv marathon days...

Sigh. Those were the days.

Being a senior just isn't that piece of cake I thought it would be.

Still,

why the moodiness?

It's time for some rainbows after the rain!

Screw homework, screw exams!

Bwahahahahaha!

Can't totally do that but,

sorry mom,

its HAPPY weekend today.

Besides, I haven't really celebrated my birthday

which is a very good excuse for me to NOT think of homework. (:

'Peace

Ps: For all that's holy, I saw K
V today!
He is freaking taller than me now!
Not FAIR!

:(

“An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet,

The thread may stretch or tangle,
but it will never break.”

Akai Ito is popular mobile phone novel written by Mei. It is about fated junior high school students, Mei and Atsushi, who must overcome many difficulties in order to be together. The love story was an online hit in 2006 and later published as a series of five books which sold 1.8 million copies...

Really hoping to catch this drama. (:

It looks very promising and the movie version of it is showing in Cathay Cineleisure at the 23rd!

Plus, it has a very beautiful, serene yet emotional soundtrack.♥

Our first encounter was by chance.
Our second meeting was destiny.
But if this is true, is it also our destiny to pass each other by?

Stress relief, no?

Yes, of course we lost.

The opposition was from Penang Free School,

& I tell you, they came to win.

Good job guys!

You guys did very well.

I actually like your dramatic flair.

Love to see you guys giving your all in the finals,

so break a leg! (:

I like their team. (:

All-boys and very gentlemanly.

Friendly, easy-going & they are football fans.

Well, most guys are anyway. (x

Anyhow,

there's always the dreaded chinese presentation

& that mountain of homework just waiting to be completed.

MSSD Basketball

~ held in BUD(3) Secondary.
~ have front(if not, high + window blockage) row seats to it.

Know what?

Against other teams(unfortunately to say,)

Our team plays like they are taking candy from a baby.

With the added humilation of letting the opponents score a few 'kesian' marks,

People, you know that BU thrians rock the house of basketball!

Mwahahahahahahaha.
*evil, sadistic laughter

Reality.

Something a certain dear said sparked an awareness in me.
I had always overlooked the fact, but now I realized what power really does to everyone.
If people as decent as him can get snared in a web of corruption,
what, really, can escape it?

--------------------

It is okay to have preferences, everyone does too,
but, to publicize it?
Mayhap you don't mean it verbally, but to show your favoritism to a point
where the subjects themselves feel it,
What more can you say? Is it just?

----------------------

Sometimes I wish you can think on behalf of other people,
I used to think someone else was more stuborn than you,
but the way I see it now, you are more mule-headed than anyone else.
Your opinions are not everything, other people have reasons for theirs too.
Why can't you try to reason, instead of bursting & lashing out every time?

----------------------

And you, I feel like you are siding on her too much,
When she's wrong, stop giving that poker face & say something.
Vice versa, can you please not side on her with everything?
Sometimes, can you think about what others are thinking of your actions too?

---------------------

I really want you guys to be there,
but sometimes, the way you guys take actions are not favorable,
and yet, we have no say in it.
Power, is it a force to be reckoned with?
Does it possess a power so immense than it can crack & divide bonds?

------------------------

It is a curious thing, Harry, but perhaps those who are best suited to power are those who have never sought it. Those who, like you, have leadership thrust upon them, and take up the mantle because they must, and find to their own surprise that they wear it well.

Debate update.

Oh Lords, help me.....

Today
was the debate workshop for the Help University Debate Competition.

One word :
FREAKY

Ohmygawd.
I felt like a hatchling there.
I practically blanked during half of the workshop 'cos I didn't know anything about what was being said.

Me, Jett, Cherry & Sumi were like,
" Whats POI?",
" What does the 1st/2nd/3rd speaker do?" & so and forth on.

You could practically feel the pressure
when there are so many experianced debators in there &
there are people like us who didn't even know how the whole debate runs.

But,
we finally got it during the exhibition debate.
So, thank you Kami-Sama!!!

I saw Chloe Crayon & Wan San dears too!
:)

What a surprise!
One minute I was chatting to Sumi, then Cherry suddenly pointed out,
" Eh? Is that Wan San?"
I whirled about & poof!
I see not only her, but Chloe as well!
Haha.
I haven't seen San ever since she stiopped ballet &
haven't seen Chloe either 'cos I go for the Thursday class
& she goes for the Monday class.
Welcome to the freshling club, guys!
We first-timers really need to buck up for the competition!

Still,

Craaaap.
What did I sign up for again?
Worse still, the competition date falls on my birthday.
What a way to spend your happy sixteenth - worrying about debate & chinese presentation.
Yes, people. It will be my turn to present two days later.
:(
& I am not exactly very fluent in it.
:'(

*Covers face in despair.

-------------------------------------------------------

On the other hand,

Happy Birthday
Bananastasia!!!

Happy 16th dear! My wish for you is that
hope you can meet all the hot guys you want,
& maybe some that are not gay. x]

God Bless!

I can speak Japanese, no?

Yesterday was an interesting day.

If you excuse the anticlimax part.

My day started off with, currently, every Thursdays-to-come supposed commence, wearing our splendid 'Unit Beruniform' uniforms to school & lining up according to our units.

Say, I wonder which dimwit came up with this ingenious way of making us wear our revolting ugly uniforms?

Any mutual thoughts?

Or, maybe its just me?

When one joins Kadet Bomba 'cos she had to join it since Form One as there are many club
limitations and had to continue attending it because it is a club to ponteng, I think many people can understand that she doesn't want to walk around wearing a signpost saying

'I am wearing an idiotic tee, so let us all spectators start throwing our heads back and laugh. Ready? Ahahahahahahahahahaha!!! '

Half of it is inspired. Ahem.

Anyhoo, they finally got the point that not many people(read: seniors) will wear them, so it always comes back to the Magic Solution: Deduction of Merit Points. Not that they care about it at all.

As for me, they wanna deduct points? Go ahead, be my guest. I can't stop you from being so high-and-mighty & show your egoistical side on lording over all the students about their attire. Not that you don't already lord over us prefects. Guess its just adding to your already pompous and inflated ego.

Well, yet as a prefect, my tie wouldn't be up much longer if it continues this way, right? But, you can torture me or use whatever means to make me, however, I will not, repeat NOT wear the fugly uniform. No offence.

I can always wear something else. ;)

Okay, the interesting part. During Bong's chinese lesson, I was in a state of panic as I forgot to bring my exercise book. Mentally crossing myself, Jett, who was setting a little way behind, asked me:

"Hey Lizzie, do you know how to speak Japanese?"

If you conclude that speaking Japanese with a limited vocabulary, with 'Moe', 'Kuso' & 'Kurosu' being the highly more prominent words, yes then, I can speak Japanese - hardly. Anyway, he explained that TST wants 4 prefects to escort some Japanese people visiting the school, and he already asked Kin Yen & Zi Yi to come along.

Jap people visting? Who the heck wants to come to this school? Of course I was thinking middle/high school students as I said this. Anyway, we all went down in a jiffy and boy it was a friggin hot day! I was sweating like a pig when we finally reached the main gate and Datin Tan KS was standing there.

Setting my personal sweat issues aside, we discovered that Pn. Tan didn't tell us that she & her hubby stayed in Japan for 3 and a half years. After asking us at least 3 three times that are we certain that she has never mentioned it before & with us shaking profusely and telling her to please get on with the story & listening to her with rapt concentration(read: Pn. Tan is immensely famous for being one of the favouratable teachers & renowned for her anecdotes(credits to Senzo) during class.), she told us 3 incidents:

- When she was staying in her rented home, some old lady(can't really remember who) came and arranged their shoes so that they would be facing outward as when you leave, there would be no hassle to put them on. [J.culture]

- Then, the old lady went into their kitchen and started sorting out their garbage into three diferent categories : burnable, non-burnable & 'big' rubbish.[J.coulture] So Datin Tan was unavoidably embarassed at the lady's acts.

- Next, during the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Japan/Korea, at a match between Japan & France, apparently when the cleaners went to the Jap's locker room to clean up, they were totally uneeded for their services as the room was so clean! Vice versa, when they went to the French's locker room, it was the absolute oppposite: messed up, dirty.... blablablah.

After that, we saw U-Jo's brother, U-Quinn. At first glance, you would never think that they had any sort of blood relation, that is, until you've heard his voice. It's completely the same! I could just imagine him as Jo with my eyes closed! Its amazing how genes work! His sound, slang is like 100% copied from Jo! Then Zi & I started asking him to say things Jo would say like, 'Bloody Dragon!', 'GG.' & stuff. Kin Yen, Zi & I were practically laughing ourselves to death at everything he said cos' everything Quinn said sounded no different that Jo. Frightening really.
I think we have scarred him for life. Poor Quinn must be thinking all his bro's friends are weirdos.

Back to the Japanese Rombongan. To my utmost disbelief, they consisted of 6-7 people from some University of Technology something something who are coming to donate sewing macchines. I know, what the heck????

Yes, FYI people, there are only 3 younger people (1 gal & 2 guys) and they are all 20+++. The rest are too old for your tastes unless you are interested in sugar daddys and other fetishes.

Ohhhhhh. Why can't it be some high school with some possibly cute guys to oggle at?
:(

Now I really hate you, Jaslynn Looi. I so badly want to go for a Japan Exchange Program too!!! GRR.

Still, Senri & I share a profound dream of hopefully going to Japan together and meet all the Tenimyu stars! Shirota Yuu, Kato Kazuki, Saito Takumi, Aoyagi Ruito... (etc)!!!
Will it ever come true?

'I sure won't stop wishing, though.

Boom!

Caution Ahead!
Fanatical Anime/Drama fan speaking

What an evil cliff-hanger.

Which to say is,

Z-OMG!!!

Gosh,
of weeks & weeks of waiting, the part that I was practically dying to see has finally come.

Except for the fact that it was fleeting, which is how the dissatisfaction began.

Allen Walker
has finally shown his first signs of being a Noah.

Oh the evilness, sadism, cynicism & (gosh!) a true mean glare from himself.

What will happen to that 15 year old of a gentle nature?

Will he be consumed by his inner darkness?

Who is that that he would have to kill when he does turn?

Most importantly,
What the bloody hell will Allen look like when he becomes a bloody Noah?

Any future hotness? (Inner "Moe" fangirl speaking)

Evil Noah Allen

Surprised & Skeptical Kanda

So far the best of the lot,

Hana Yori Dango!

LOL.
The feeling never changes.

Undoubtedlly one of the best J-Dorama ever made,
with the added feature of brilliant actors such as Matsumoto Jun & Oguri Shun.

With two seasons & a movie, ones does see the
herculean popularity of HYD.

At least it is to us, J-dorama fans.

:)
